This page contains frequently asked questions related to our activities.

Where can I see the fund foundation documents?

You can view and download our documents in the appropriate section of our website - Official documents.

What is the status of the fund?

The Kherson Regional Charitable Fund "Union" (EDRPOU Code 37542223) is a charitable organization with the status of non-profit 0036; we are not VAT payers.

Whom does the fund support and help?

Our Foundation usually helps those who help others. Our primary audience, whom we support, is the State Emergency Service, the police, administrations, local self-government bodies, schools, public organizations, volunteers, initiative groups, etc. If we don't have support from our international partners and donors, we usually raise funds for public safety-related items, including turnstiles, first aid kits, drone detectors, night vision systems, fire extinguishers, civil defense equipment, dehumidifiers, disinfectant sets, and many other products. We hand over all the equipment officially to the institutions that have turned to us for help, sign transfer deeds and donation contracts, and highlight the handover information on our resources. You can find out about specific targeted aid programs on our website.

What does the fund usually raise money for?

Our Foundation is not a humanitarian organization, although it was forced to help the residents of the Kherson region with food kits during the occupation. We mainly help institutions and organizations carry out their activities in the Kherson region with equipment and goods to preserve the life and health of the population. In particular, we help the State Emergency Service, the police, military administrations, public organizations, volunteers, and initiative groups (usually through mini-initiatives and micro-grants). For the most part, we act as consultants and facilitators in communities, involving the above-described institutions and organizations to identify problems in public safety and recovery, develop projects, and find funding for their implementation. We do not provide targeted assistance to low-income families, children, etc., directly; we support those who help others. Sometimes, we have specifically targeted programs for the direct transfer of aid to the residents of the Kherson region, for example, the distribution of tourniquets, first-aid kits, or other means; however, as you may have guessed, this is not the main direction of our activity. We attract funds from donors and international partners for specific programs and projects in the communities that we helped them develop, and we subsequently accompany their implementation. You can find out about specific targeted aid programs on our website.
