Charitable aid in the Henichesk community

In the first half of April, 287 people received help in the form of food kits in the Henichesk community.

Since February 24, no humanitarian aid has arrived in the Henichesk community from Ukraine-controlled territory because russian troops block any humanitarian assistance. The cash-flow cycle in the community is limited, so not all citizens have received pensions and other material benefits, which in turn forbids the purchase of food, etc.

Our Foundation, in partnership with local volunteers from the NGO "Institute for the Development of the Genichesk Community" within the framework of the UN Program for Reconstruction and Peacebuilding with the financial support of the EU, purchased food products from local farmers and entrepreneurs in the territory of the Genichesk community. Food kits were formed and delivered to those families in an extremely difficult social situation in the settlements of the Henichesk City Territorial Community.

Assistance was received by: persons who belong to the least protected groups of the population; disabled persons, persons in need of external assistance (bed patients); children with disabilities; children without parental care; large families; pensioners; other citizens who have not yet received cash and, accordingly, do not have the opportunity to purchase food, medicine, etc.

The total amount of purchases was UAH 62,190.00. Rice, carrots, cabbage, beets, flour, groats, etc., were purchased to form sets.

As a reminder, you can support people in difficult circumstances.

We have opened accounts to collect charitable assistance for purchasing and providing assistance in the Kherson region.  You can support by a Visa/Mastercard and/or bank transfer.
