The restoration of the Kherson region is impossible without the coordinated work of public organizations and the expert community. Therefore, to establish regular coordination of actions to strengthen the resilience and security of the Kherson city territorial community, the Kherson Regional Charitable Foundation “Union” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Community Foundation of Kherson “Zakhyst”.
Within the framework of the partnership, we will focus on several strategic areas. In particular, combining analytical efforts to better understand the real needs of Kherson residents. An essential component of cooperation will be the active involvement of residents in decision-making processes, ensuring that the community's voice has a genuine impact on the outcome.
Special attention will be paid to advocacy for the interests of the Kherson region at the local, regional, and national levels, as well as the development of the public sector. Joint initiatives will focus on strengthening the role of non-governmental organizations in addressing public security, resilience, and post-war reconstruction in the region.
Cooperation between the Union Foundation and the Community Foundation of Kherson, “Zakhyst,” will enable us to act not in a piecemeal manner, but systematically: to hear people better, respond faster to community needs, and make decisions that promote the long-term sustainability of the region. By combining the experience, knowledge, and trust of communities, we strengthen each other and create a solid foundation for a safe and dignified future for the Kherson region.
