How to Monitor Government Procurement Yourself: Video Lessons

Want to learn how to understand where public funds are being spent? You don’t need much time or specialized financial education. All you need is the desire to learn!

The Union Foundation has released a series of short, easy-to-understand video lessons that will help you:

  • to find information about public procurement,
  • to learn how to check whether payments have already been made from the local budget,
  • to understand where to find the contractor carrying out work funded with public money,
  • to learn how to conduct your own investigation in just 5 minutes.

At the end of the course, there is a final test and a certificate.

The course will be useful for activists, journalists, community residents, and anyone who wants to understand where and how public funds are being spent. Learn not just to see the numbers in a budget, but to check them and uncover what might otherwise go unnoticed.
