On January 16, 2023, 18 generators were delivered to Kherson for condominiums and volunteer centers. These generators were purchased with the funds of UCBI III as part of the "United for Kherson" project.
These generators, as well as extension cords and cans (we are still waiting for delivery), will be handed over to condominiums in Ostriv, Tavriyskyi, Shumenskyi, KhBK, Center, and Zhytloselyshche residential neighborhoods under their official requests.
Currently, there are few residents left in the city. Still, at the same time, residents of high-rise buildings are most vulnerable to situations when Kherson is left without electricity due to russian shelling. That is why we decided that providing high-rise buildings, as well as volunteer centers with alternative power sources during blackout periods, is significant.
After all the equipment is distributed, we will publish a detailed report on their transfer.
As a reminder, the Kherson Regional Military Administration also provides generators for condominiums with bomb shelters or shelters.
