The premises are being drained after flooding in high-rise buildings in Kherson

In Kherson, flooded basements and apartments due to occupiers' blowing up of Kakhovka HPP are being drained with the help of industrial dehumidifiers, which we provide for use. They absorb moisture and turn it into water.

Eight industrial dehumidifiers, which we were able to purchase thanks to the Ukrainian Women's Fund and Schneider Group LLC, work around the clock in the basements and first floors of Kherson high-rise buildings and one of the hospitals in the Ostriv neighborhood.

In a few days of dehumidifier operation, the humidity in the premises decreases from 90% to 60%, and even the soil dries to sand in the basements. One dehumidifier absorbs moisture and turns it into 20-30 liters of water per day.

The walls and all surfaces are disinfected after drying. We have created disinfectant kits for this and also give them to every house that has contacted us

Condominiums can send us an email to office@fundunion.org in the appropriate format to receive dehumidifiers and disinfection kits.
