"The Conversations about Restoration": chancellor of the Kherson National Technical University, Professor Olena Chepelyuk about the role of universities in the restoration of the Kherson Region

Despite the shelling and destruction, everyone is talking about restoration. And what do the experts think about it?

We started the second season of the project "The Conversations about Restoration" in Kherson and the Kherson region with representatives of civil society organizations, volunteers, civil servants, businessmen, journalists, and experts who continue their work in the Kherson region after deoccupation and liberation.

We discuss what the government and the public do and don't do, where to go, what to do, and what to prepare for. We also discuss the prospects for recovery, who should be involved in this process, and when.

Today, the chancellor of the Kherson National Technical University, Professor Olena Chepelyuk shared her vision about the role of universities in restoring the Kherson region.

The Kherson National Technical University has been relocated and currently works on the basis of Khmelnytskyi National University.

Mrs. Olena headed it in an extremely difficult time: during the period of full-scale invasion and occupation of Kherson, and launched its work virtually from scratch in a foreign city. How was it? What were the challenges, and what are the plans for the future?
