Thanks to cooperation with the Bilozerka Military Administration and the support of the USAID project “Ukraine Confidence Building Initiative (UCBI)” and the Union Foundation, the community has launched an important project to insulate shelters, which will significantly improve the conditions for residents during emergencies in the cold autumn-winter period.

The initiative plans to update and properly equip shelters so that people can stay safely and comfortably during possible threats. The updated shelters will also make it possible to hold events and gatherings in emergencies, ensuring proper conditions in the autumn-winter period.

The project will contribute to increasing the community's security and provide new opportunities for its residents to unite in critical conditions when the availability of properly prepared shelters becomes vital.

The shelters will not only fulfill their protective function but also become more comfortable, which will positively affect the psychological state of the residents while they are there.

“Creating comfortable conditions in our shelters is not only a matter of safety but also a concern for the well-being of each resident. Thanks to new opportunities, we can better prepare for the cold season and ensure the protection of the community even in the most difficult conditions,” says the head of the military administration, Ihor Ostrivnyi.

This project was developed based on ideas previously collected from residents of the Bilozerka community, who are also ready to participate in its implementation.
