Kherson volunteers completed an extended course on pre-medical assistance in wartime conditions

On March 15-16, 2023, our Foundation organized a 16-hour extended training on pre-medical aid in emergency situations and in war conditions for Kherson volunteers, representatives of public and charitable foundations that perform their work in Kherson and the region. 

The topics of personal safety, providing first aid to victims were discussed during the training including the use of tourniquets, tamponade of wounds, checking the level of consciousness and help in case of loss of consciousness, the use of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and work with an automatic defibrillator, methods of evacuating victims and much more.

A feature of the training was three-hour simulations of situations similar to real ones with the use of make-up, including severed limbs, massive bleeding, etc. 

All participants received certificates and universal first-aid kits with tourniquets. The training was conducted by CAB-certified instructors.
