The "Union" Foundation donated fire hydrants to the Kochubeyivka Community

In the Kochubeyivka community, where the Working Group on Public Safety and Recovery has been operating for almost two years, the problem with water supply during firefighting was especially acute.

The fire brigade had to go to the community's central estate for water, which caused not only additional fuel costs but also a loss of precious time.

Therefore, with the assistance of our Foundation, the community received nine fire hydrants. This became an essential step in increasing the efficiency of responding to emergencies.

After the hydrants are installed, the number of points for refueling equipment with water will increase. This will save time and resources, and most importantly, respond faster at critical moments.

The implementation of this initiative was made possible within the framework of the initiative "Kherson region: public safety and recovery in conditions of change", implemented by the "Union" Foundation with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine with the financial support of the Government of Denmark.
