Thanks to cooperation with the Bilozerka Military Administration, the Chartable organization "Revival of the Communities of the South," and the support of the USAID project “Ukraine Confidence Building Initiative (UCBI)" and the Union Foundation, the community has launched an important environmental project to create sorting sites.

As part of the initiative, 20 waste sorting sites will be installed, improving the region's environmental situation and increasing local residents' collective responsibility for proper waste management in the community.

A clean environment and proper waste management are essential features of a European-integrated society. The project aims not only to reduce the amount of waste in landfills but also to provide the community with new opportunities to restore the environment and improve the quality of life. Every resident of Bilozerka will be able to sort garbage, thus helping nature and their community, contributing to a common, clean, and environmentally responsible future.

“Sorting garbage is a simple but effective way to make our region cleaner and reduce the environmental burden. Together, we can improve the situation!” says Deputy Head of the Military Administration Oleksiy Zhuravlenko.

This project was developed based on previously collected ideas from residents of the Bilozerka community, who are also ready to join its implementation.
