The new police station was opened in the Bilozerka community as part of the activities of the WGPSR

At one of the previous meetings in the Bilozerka community, the Working Group on Public Security and Recovery (the WGPSR) discussed the importance of arranging the office of the future community police officer (CPO).

Representatives of the Charitable Foundation "Revival of the Communities of the South," as members of the WGPSR, developed and submitted a relevant project to UNDP Ukraine, proposing an initiative to create appropriate conditions for the CPO's practical work in the Bilozerka community.

The initiative envisaged arranging a specialized room with furniture and equipment that would provide convenient access to police services for citizens, increase the level of trust in the police, and create a safe environment for resolving conflicts and offenses.

Recently, a new police station was opened in the Bilozerka community to provide comprehensive assistance to local residents, and the office of the community police officer was partially equipped thanks to the UNDP-supported initiative for almost 200 thousand UAH.

As part of the UNDP-supported initiative, the office was equipped with furniture, chairs, an MFD, a laptop, an air conditioner, a router, and other work-related equipment.

Based on the results of the WGPSR's work last year, a similar initiative was also implemented in the Stanislav community.

As a reminder, the WGPSR in the Bilozerka community was created in August 2023 by the orders of the heads of military administrations within the framework of the initiative "Kherson Region: Public Security and Recovery in the Conditions of Change" is implemented by the "Union" Foundation with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine with the financial support of the Government of Denmark.
